The beginning of July was also when Laurie returned to work. She is now working two days a week and Andrew goes to a home daycare at the end of our street. He has been doing very well there and seems to enjoy it. Laurie is finding that two days a week is a nice balance as it gives her some adult interaction time out of the house and makes her appreciate her time at home with Andrew even more.
John was in a wedding on July 10 in Las Vegas so we packed up and the three of us went to Vegas for the weekend (from Thursday to Monday). Andrew did really well on the airplane (he's a pro now) and was a trooper the whole weekend. It was extremely hot while we were there (between 100-110) degrees but we still walked around the strip a little bit and spent some time outside. John's parents were there also for the wedding so it was nice to spend some time with them. The wedding was beautiful and we wish Doug & Leslie a lifetime of happiness.

The week we returned home from Vegas, Laurie took Andrew to a surgical consult for his circumcision. The doctor said that it's a simple procedure that will take 30 minutes with a recovery time that is generally 2 days. The surgery is schedule for September 1 and we are not looking forward to it but we know he will be ok.
PPG (John's employer) hosted a night at the Pittsburgh zoo for PPG employees & friends/familes. We took Andrew along with Laurie's parents. He had a great time seeing all of the animals and even got to pet a lizard! Grandma and Grandpa Morrow had a great time too watching Andrew's reaction to everything.

The remainder of the month was spent visiting with friends. Andrew got to meet Ava, Carson, Danica, Brady, Cole, Nick & Ben (all children of Laurie's work friends) as well as Layla, Alyssa & Chad (children of Laurie's college friends). Laurie had a great time visiting with everybody and Andrew had a blast meeting his new friends.
